Building your own 5 gallon Emergency Kit is very simple and exciting to do. So much I began building mine and a couple of family members.
As I begin this fun task, I felt the need to gather even more water just because. With everything going on in the world its crucial to help our family and friends out because they don’t think like we do. FEMA and DHS ask and encourage us to have at least 10 days worth of supplies in case of emergency. “I Know, I Know” what you may be thinking. I’m not a prepper and those folks on TV are nuts. Listen- If you have a fire alarm, an escape plan in the event of a fire in the house and a meet up spot if the family is separated then YOU ARE A PREPPER!
With Harvey and Irma most recently it has shown that we can never be too prepared. With that being said we all agree that this bucket can save your life. The bucket is not ideal for carrying around while you bug out on foot. But this is also a good size to throw in any size vehicle just to have, in case your stranded on the side of the highway because you ran out of gas while attempting to leave the path of a Hurricane.
